TJJ Israel Ambassadors (TJJIA) is a four week Israel program for public school teens. Israel Ambassadors combines leadership training, community service, traditional Beit Medrash study and touring as participants have the summer of their lives while learning to advocate for Israel.
TJJIA is for motivated public school teens who are interested in growth, leadership and learning while simultaneously having fun.
TJJIA participants learn how to serve as representatives for the State of Israel and the Jewish people. TJJIA is open to any motivated teen, regardless if he or she went on TJJ or visited Israel.
Get out of the classroom to see and experience what you are fighting for. Specially designed theme trips focusing on different elements of Israel advocacy such as ethics in war, debunking the apartheid claim and the Jewish Historical and Biblical claim to Israel. Go behind the lines, spend a Shabbat in an Israeli settlement and meet the people behind the stories.
Connect to your Land by engaging with the larger Israeli community: Be active in running a camp for the children of Sderot. Deliver baked goods to soldiers defending our Homeland. Build a new Jewish community. Train as a medical clown and volunteer in an Israeli hospital.
Develop a deeper understanding of who you are and what Judaism means to you. Spend time with the NCSY Kollel (boys) and Michlelet (girls) programs. Intermediate learning sessions and meet Torah personalities throughout the summer. Learn about the depth and meaning of Prayer.
